Terms & Conditions

Scope of Services

Pilates is a form of physical exercise intended to improve movement, strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing. Sessions are adapted to individual ability and health information disclosed by the client. 

Pilates is not a medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. It does not replace medical care, physiotherapy, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Instructors do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatment.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to: 

  • Complete all health screening forms honestly.

  • Clients confirm they are 18 years of age or older and legally able to enter into this agreement. 

  • Inform the instructor of any injuries, pain, pregnancy, or changes in health.

  • Follow instructions and work within personal limits.

  • Stop any exercise that causes pain or discomfort.

Failure to disclose relevant health information may increase risk of injury

Online Session Conditions

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a safe, clear exercise space free from hazards. 

  • Clients must have appropriate equipment, a mat is required.

  • A stable internet connection is necessary for the session. 

  • Suitable camera positioning is required to allow movement observation where possible. 

Health & Medical Clearance

The instructor may request written medical or professional clearance before commencing or continuing sessions. Sessions may be postponed until clearance is provided. 

Booking & Payment

  • All sessions must be booked in advance.

  • Payment is required at time of booking via bank transfer.

  • If payment is not made at least 48 hours before sessions, booking will be cancelled.

  • Late starts will not extend session time. 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.

  • Instructor cancellations will be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Exceptions may be made at instructor’s discretion. 

Refund Policy

Refund are not offered for unused sessions, except where required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or in exceptional circumstances at the instructor’s discretion. ​

Liability and Assumptions of Risk

Pilates involves physical movement and carries a risk of muscle soreness or injury. Client’s participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for their own wellbeing during sessions.

The instructor is not responsible for injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions, failure to follow guidance, or activities undertaken outside sessions. 

Photography and Data Protection

Photography or video recording may take place with separate written consent. Personal data is stored securely and handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
